The Black & White Scotch Whiskey pub of the year awards were equivalent to the licensed trade "Oscars". Andys holds a record twenty two County Monaghan titles along with eight Ulster Pub of the Year Titles.

TV3 Value Menu Awards, 2003-2004
In June 2003, Head Chef Ciaran was nominated by the Restaurant Association of Ireland to represent Ulster in the Bushmills Value menu Awards. All four provinces were represented, also included was Dublin. Ciaran was required to prepare a starter & main course live on TV3. The viewers voted for their favourite chef at the end of the week. Ciaran won by a record number of votes!
